Terms of Use

Agreement

By accessing or using Vellio ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or present security or abuse risk.

To protect the Service from automated abuse, we may block registrations when more than 50 accounts from the same email domain are created within one hour, returning a domain-block error. We also monitor signup velocity by IP network block and alert our team when unusually high registration rates are detected; this is an alarm-only control and does not automatically block legitimate traffic (for example during a product launch).

Acceptable use

You will not use the Service to:

• Violate applicable law or third-party rights
• Generate, distribute, or solicit harmful, fraudulent, or illegal content
• Publish prohibited content to the marketplace (including spam, malware instructions, or content that infringes copyright)
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorization
• Overload or disrupt the Service or other users' access
• Attempt to access another user's data without permission
• Farm hosted credits or create multiple accounts to evade limits

AI outputs and third-party services

The Service may route your prompts to third-party AI providers you select or, when you use hosted credits, to providers through Vellio-managed keys. Outputs are generated by those models; Vellio does not guarantee accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for how you use generated content. Provider terms and acceptable-use policies apply to traffic sent through those providers.

Marketplace and published prompts

Publishing prompts to Explore grants Vellio a non-exclusive licence to display and distribute your listing on the Service (title, description, content, tags, and associated metadata). Other users may fork or interact with published prompts according to in-product rules. You represent that you have the right to publish the content you submit. You may unpublish or edit listings subject to community guidelines and moderation. Report violations to abuse@vellio.ai.

Paid plans, hosted credits, and billing

Subscription and credit-pack purchases are processed by Stripe. Fees, renewal, and refunds follow the checkout terms presented at purchase and Stripe's policies where applicable.

Hosted credits

• Hosted credits are consumed per message according to the in-app ledger and model pricing shown before send. Pricing includes a margin over provider wholesale costs, disclosed at purchase and in-product.
• Credits are a prepayment for AI usage through Vellio-managed keys. They are not legal tender and may not be transferred or resold.
• New Free accounts receive a one-time grant of 50 credits after email verification and first sign-in (not a recurring monthly refill on the Free tier).
• Paid plans receive monthly credit allotments per the plan shown at checkout. Unused monthly allotments do not roll over unless explicitly stated at purchase.
• Provider outages, rate limits, or policy changes may affect availability; Vellio passes through provider behaviour and does not guarantee a specific model or SLA for hosted sends.

Refunds

Subscription refunds follow Stripe and applicable consumer-law rules. Credit-pack purchases are generally non-refundable once credits are granted, except where required by law or where we determine a billing error occurred. Contact legal@vellio.ai for billing disputes.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, abuse of hosted credits, or marketplace policy breaches. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; data deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vellio and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
